Finance Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team for a 3-month paid onsite internship. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance environment. The intern will support the Finance team with daily accounting and financial activities, helping to ensure smooth operations while developing practical skills in various finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting and finance-related tasks to support the team’s workflow.
- Maintain and update financial records and documentation accurately.
- Perform data entry and transaction recording to ensure up-to-date financial information.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation, verification, and filing.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and contribute to basic financial reporting activities.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records systematically.
- Prepare Excel-based financial reports and summaries, utilizing basic formulas and spreadsheet functions.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all financial information handled.
- Perform additional finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support team objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in B.Com, BBA (Finance), BS Accounting & Finance, ACCA, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including knowledge of basic formulas, spreadsheets, and data handling.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Understanding of bank reconciliation and transaction recording is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to handle financial data effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Good communication and organizational skills to work efficiently within the team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities throughout the internship period.
