Finance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager with a minimum of five years in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate will be a CA Finalist with strong expertise in financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, accounting operations, and financial controls. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a UK-based accounting or outsourcing firm. This full-time position is based in Islamabad and offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and internal policies.
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders regarding financial information and reporting requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Support UK accounting and financial reporting assignments in line with relevant UK requirements, where applicable.

Required Qualifications

- CA Finalist qualification.
- At least five years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Proven ability to independently prepare comprehensive financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with a UK-based accounting firm or accounting outsourcing company.
- Familiarity with UK accounting practices, including FRS 102, FRS 105, and preparation of UK statutory accounts.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Exposure to client management, audit support, and year-end accounts preparation.
