The Finance Manager role at APAG is a full-time, on-site position based at the Korangi Industrial Area facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting to support strategic business decisions. The Finance Manager will manage accounting operations, review financial statements, ensure accurate ledger entries, and monitor cash flow to maintain financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights for management.
- Manage accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Conduct cost analysis and oversee inventory and production-related financial controls to optimize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls, enhancing transparency and accuracy.
- Prepare detailed management reports to inform senior leadership and support decision-making.
- Provide guidance and supervision to finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and controlling inventory and production costs.
- Knowledge of audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software, with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA are highly desirable.
- Several years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment.
