The Finance Manager position at APAG is a full-time, on-site role located at the Korangi Industrial Area facility. This role is pivotal in managing the company’s financial planning and analysis functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting to support strategic business decisions. The Finance Manager will oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate ledger management, review financial statements, and monitor cash flow to maintain financial health. Additionally, the role involves cost analysis, inventory and production-related financial controls, audit coordination, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, prepare management reports, and guide finance staff to ensure efficient and transparent financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and financial statement review.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Conduct cost accounting and control inventory and production-related financial activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes and controls.
- Prepare detailed management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members to maintain high operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience in cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory/production cost control.
- Knowledge of audit coordination, internal controls, and compliance with accounting and tax laws.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial software, with strong data analysis capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or related sectors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
