Finance Manager

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to lead and manage financial operations for our e-commerce platforms and retail sales channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management capabilities and practical experience with Odoo ERP software. This role involves overseeing daily financial activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and collaborating with various departments to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily financial operations related to e-commerce and retail sales channels.
- Monitor sales revenue, expenses, gross profit, and net profit to ensure financial health.
- Reconcile online orders, payment gateways, cash on delivery (COD) transactions, and bank receipts.
- Oversee retail store sales, point of sale (POS) transactions, cash collections, and daily closing reports.
- Handle inventory valuation, stock costing, returns, damaged goods, and stock adjustments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, supplier payments, and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive management reports.
- Analyze profitability by product, store location, and online sales channels to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate effectively with sales, warehouse, procurement, and operations teams to streamline processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within e-commerce and retail sectors.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Odoo ERP Software Requirements

- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP, especially in Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and POS modules.
- Ability to manage invoices, vendor bills, payments, bank reconciliations, and journal entries within Odoo.
- Knowledge of inventory valuation, product costing, stock movements, and integration with financial records.
- Experience reconciling e-commerce orders and retail sales with accounting data.
- Competence in generating financial reports and analyzing business performance using Odoo.
- Experience with Odoo implementation, configuration, or reporting is considered an advantage.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a monthly salary of Rs150,000. The role requires working on-site at the company’s location.
