Finance Officer

Meds Nexus is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to join their Accounts & Finance team on a full-time, on-site basis in Rawalpindi. This position operates during the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, performing multi-currency bank reconciliations, and conducting routine financial audits. This role is vital in ensuring the company’s financial integrity by preventing discrepancies across ledger entries and bank balances.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, audit, and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate journal entry postings.
- Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations of corporate bank accounts, credit card statements, and payment gateways.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closing processes by preparing trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Verify supporting documentation for operational expenses, petty cash disbursements, and vendor invoices through internal control audits.
- Generate month-end variance analysis reports and balance sheet summaries for leadership review.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), BS in Accounting & Finance, or Master’s in Commerce (M.Com).
- 5 to 6 years of experience in general ledger management and bank reconciliation within a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and logical functions.
- Familiarity with accounting software platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in English.
