The Supply Chain Finance Controller/Partner based in Khanewal plays a critical role in managing end-to-end cost control, inventory governance, and operational finance activities for the Pakistan market. Reporting to the Global/Regional Supply Chain Finance Business Partner, this position ensures accurate product costing, inventory reporting, CAPEX governance, and month-end cost closing while maintaining compliance with internal policies and local regulations. Beyond core controlling duties, the role supports strategic sourcing decisions, import/export flows, logistics optimization, and supply chain transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing service levels, resilience, and profitability. Acting as a key finance advisor, the role partners closely with factory, procurement, logistics, finance, and supply chain leadership to drive operational excellence and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

COGS Control
Take full ownership of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) line items by performing detailed costing analysis, reviewing and validating forecasts and business plan costing. Share Transfer Pricing data with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and thorough documentation of all product costing activities. Monitor inflation, savings, and one-off impacts across all COGS components including material, packaging, production, and logistics.

Inventory & Business Waste
Lead initiatives to reduce cash and inventory levels by collaborating with Finance and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities, track progress, and achieve agreed targets. Monitor Business Waste performance by analyzing key drivers and variances, and work with supply chain teams to implement corrective actions. Support inventory governance and control processes in partnership with Finance controllers and supply chain colleagues.

Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)
Review and submit CAPEX forecasts aligned with financial timelines. Ensure compliance with internal CAPEX policies, external regulations, and accounting standards.

Month-End Closing and Controls
Manage accruals and reclassifications related to factory, logistics, and inbound costs. Ensure production order checks are conducted and issues resolved promptly. Support timely and accurate month-end close activities and contribute to internal controls and audit processes related to supply chain finance.

Factory Controlling & Governance
Provide independent oversight of factory procurement and expenditures to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and Delegation of Authority (DoA). Review and challenge significant spending on services, maintenance, spares, materials, CAPEX, and contractors to ensure value, governance, and control compliance. Identify and escalate policy deviations, control gaps, audit findings, and non-compliance, following up to resolution.

Business Partnering & Project Support
Lead financial evaluation of strategic business cases and investment proposals by challenging assumptions, assessing value creation and risks, and offering recommendations to senior management. Support the Lipton Management System (LMS) program and other supply chain transformation projects.

Key Interfaces
Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Factory Operations, Logistics and Planning teams, Local Finance teams, Tax and External Auditors as required, Internal Audit, and Global and Regional Supply Chain Finance partners.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain finance, cost controlling, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed costing and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of CAPEX governance and accounting standards.
- Experience in month-end closing processes and internal controls.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
