Taabir Technical and Vocational Center is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join its team on a full-time, on-site basis at the Malir District location. It offers a wide range of industry-relevant courses, including solar PV technology, information technology, beauty therapy, mobile repairing, CCTV technician training, and tax expertise. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of the Center by managing accurate financial records and supporting strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Manage monthly and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to assist in resource planning for training programs.
- Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flows, and manage payables and receivables efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize accounting software for bookkeeping, reporting, and data management.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Provide financial analysis to inform management decisions and support operational planning.
- Collaborate effectively with academic and administrative teams to align financial management with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of finance and financial reporting, with the ability to prepare and interpret financial information for decision-making purposes.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and related tools for bookkeeping and data management.
- Well-developed analytical skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to identify financial trends and variances.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in the Malir District and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
