Financial Analyst & Business Setup Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst and Business Setup Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing financial analysis and reporting, ensuring compliance with tax and annual return requirements, and supporting the establishment of new business ventures from the ground up. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with practical experience in business setup and compliance, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and perform detailed financial analysis.
- Analyze expenses, revenue streams, cash flow, and overall profitability to identify trends and opportunities.
- Identify and recommend strategies for cost reduction and business growth.
- Manage or coordinate the preparation and submission of annual returns, tax filings, and ensure financial compliance.
- Establish accounting and financial systems tailored for new business setups.
- Develop financial plans and projections to support new business ventures and initiatives.
- Assist with business registration processes and the initial financial setup of new companies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and profitability analyses for potential projects.
- Collaborate with accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and other relevant professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide management with data-driven financial recommendations to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, or business finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience with tax returns and annual financial filings.
- Proven track record in setting up business or financial functions from scratch.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent are considered an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with startups or newly established businesses.
- Knowledge of Pakistan’s tax regulations and corporate compliance requirements.
- Ability to independently design and implement financial processes and systems.
