Financial Controller

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the accounting and financial operations of our company, which operates as a software house serving international clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex financial transactions, including foreign currency dealings and international payments, within a dynamic IT services environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee accounting processes related to international clients, including foreign currency transactions.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Handle client invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable efficiently.
- Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and perform regular reconciliations.
- Manage international payments and receipts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Maintain precise financial records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting and tax requirements.
- Collaborate with management and internal teams on financial matters to support business objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- ACCA or ICMA qualification is mandatory.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Proven experience working in a software house or IT services company is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of international accounting principles and financial transactions.
- Hands-on experience with foreign currency transactions, international payments, and client invoicing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with effective communication capabilities.

This position is full-time and based onsite at our Clifton, Karachi office.
