Financial Controller

Zameen.com is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead and manage all financial operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure strong financial controls, strategic financial planning, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role requires overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support the company’s business goals. The Financial Controller will also focus on optimizing financial performance, controlling costs, managing risks, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting specifically for construction projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor overall financial performance, cash flows, and project profitability to drive business success.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost control measures while providing strategic financial insights to management.
- Present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to track expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.
- Ensure compliance with taxation laws, regulatory standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Manage working capital to maintain sufficient liquidity for ongoing projects.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions to optimize cash management.
- Develop and enforce financial policies, improve internal processes, and strengthen internal controls.

Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CFA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managerial or leadership roles.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in financial systems, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple financial projects simultaneously.
