Financial Controller

Zameen.com is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead and manage all financial operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, strategic financial planning, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role demands expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support the company’s business objectives. The Financial Controller will also focus on optimizing financial performance, controlling costs, managing risks, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting specifically for construction projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Monitor overall financial performance, cash flow, and profitability of projects.
- Conduct variance analysis and cost control measures while providing strategic financial insights.
- Present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Establish and track project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and resource optimization.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to monitor expenses, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Ensure full compliance with taxation, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Manage working capital to maintain sufficient liquidity for ongoing projects.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions.
- Develop and enforce financial policies, improve internal processes, and strengthen internal controls.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CFA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in managerial roles.
- Proficiency in financial systems, financial modeling, and data analytics.
- Location: Lahore.
