Financial Modeler (3+ Years Experience)

The Value Core is a corporate finance advisory firm specializing in supporting startups and mid-market companies across the GCC, UK, and South Asia. We operate at the crossroads of financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic advisory, emphasizing precision and accuracy in every engagement. We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Modeling professional with over three years of hands-on experience to join our Karachi-based team. This role involves supporting projects across Riyadh and London and requires a candidate capable of independently building and reviewing sophisticated, transaction-grade financial models. This position demands more than basic Excel skills; we are looking for someone with medium to advanced financial modeling expertise who can deliver complex and detailed models.

Key Responsibilities
- Build advanced, integrated three-statement financial models for various client engagements.
- Develop discounted cash flow (DCF) and valuation models, including weighted average cost of capital (WACC) calculations and sensitivity analysis.
- Create and maintain forecasting models incorporating scenario planning and downside-case analysis.
- Construct detailed operating models alongside complex debt and financing schedules.
- Independently build financial models from scratch and conduct thorough reviews to ensure model integrity.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support transaction advisory and corporate finance projects.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), ACCA certification, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in building advanced, integrated three-statement financial models.
- Strong expertise in DCF and valuation modeling, including WACC and sensitivity analyses.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting, scenario analysis, and downside-case modeling.
- Ability to develop detailed operating models and manage complex debt and financing schedules.
- Proven capability to independently construct models from the ground up and ensure their accuracy and reliability.
- Advanced Excel skills coupled with strong financial analytical abilities.
