Financial Modeler (3+ Years Experience)

The Value Core is a corporate finance advisory firm specializing in supporting startups and mid-market companies across the GCC, UK, and South Asia. We operate at the crossroads of financial modeling, business analytics, and strategic advisory, with a strong emphasis on precision and quality. We are currently seeking a skilled Financial Modeling professional with over three years of hands-on experience to join our team based in Karachi. This role involves supporting engagements in Riyadh and London, requiring a candidate who can independently develop and review sophisticated, transaction-grade financial models. This position demands more than basic Excel skills; it requires advanced financial modeling expertise and the ability to deliver complex, high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

- Build advanced, integrated three-statement financial models for various client engagements.
- Develop discounted cash flow (DCF) and valuation models, including weighted average cost of capital (WACC) calculations and sensitivity analyses.
- Create and maintain forecasting models that incorporate scenario planning and downside-case analysis.
- Construct detailed operating models alongside complex debt and financing schedules.
- Independently build financial models from scratch and conduct thorough reviews to ensure model integrity.
- Support transaction advisory and corporate finance projects in collaboration with senior team members.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in financial modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), ACCA certification, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in building advanced three-statement integrated financial models.
- Strong expertise in DCF and valuation modeling, including WACC and sensitivity analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting, scenario analysis, and downside-case modeling.
- Ability to develop detailed operating models and manage complex debt and financing schedules.
- Proven capability to independently create financial models from the ground up and review their accuracy and integrity.
- Advanced Excel skills combined with strong financial analysis capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in transaction advisory or corporate finance is highly desirable.
