Financial Planning/ROI Analyst

We are seeking a Value Realization / ROI Analyst to assess and validate the business value of our AI initiatives. This role involves evaluating technology investments, quantifying return on investment, defining performance metrics, and tracking business outcomes from the initial business case through to implementation and deployment. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, AI, Product, and business teams to validate assumptions, measure realized benefits, and provide data-driven recommendations on whether initiatives should be continued, scaled, reprioritized, or adjusted. Candidates with backgrounds in SaaS, software, financial analysis, or business consulting are encouraged to apply. While direct AI experience is advantageous, the primary focus is on the ability to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models to evaluate AI and other technology investments.
- Establish baselines and define both financial and non-financial KPIs to measure business impact effectively.
- Quantify ROI, cost savings, productivity improvements, revenue impact, and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor projected versus actual benefits throughout implementation and post-deployment phases.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to validate financial assumptions, costs, and realized returns.
- Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate performance and value realization clearly.
- Identify discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support investment decisions and prioritization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in ROI analysis, financial modeling, business case development, commercial analysis, or value realization.
- Background in SaaS, software, technology, or digital transformation industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business and technology initiatives into measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with business intelligence (BI) and reporting tools is a plus.
- Exposure to AI, automation, or AI-enabled business initiatives, along with an understanding of their potential business impact.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Technology, Product, and business stakeholders.
