Giant Group is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our expanding team at our Lahore office located in Askari Corporate Tower, Gulberg III. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of up to 200,000 PKR per month, with working hours from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The position is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, who possess strong communication skills and hold a degree from a reputable university. This role focuses on financial reporting, analysis, and governance rather than audit, making it suitable for analyst-level professionals rather than senior or managerial candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly reporting packs and provide supporting financial analysis.
- Conduct revenue, cost, overhead, and profitability analysis across Group entities.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required.
- Enhance the quality, consistency, and presentation of financial reports, including automating recurring reports.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of UK VAT, PAYE, and other tax requirements relevant to the Group.
- Collect and organize documentation needed for responses to HMRC queries.
- Ensure that reporting and compliance documentation is complete, well-organized, and readily accessible for review.
- Maintain documentation demonstrating the operation of key finance and tax processes across the Group.
- Assist the Finance team with UK tax compliance matters, including VAT and PAYE.
- Prepare monthly governance and compliance packs for Finance Manager review.

Required Qualifications
- A completed bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business from a reputable university. An MBA is considered an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to produce accounts from ledgers to financial accounting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing Board working papers and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and detect unusual movements.
- Experience primarily in external audit or senior/managerial roles is not suitable for this position.
- ACCA/CA qualification is not required.

Preferred Qualifications and Employee Benefits
- Experience in the IT services industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE is useful; comprehensive UK compliance training will be provided.
