Giant Group is seeking a dedicated Financial Reporting and Governance Analyst to join our expanding team in Lahore. This permanent role is based at Askari Corporate Tower, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, and offers a competitive salary of up to PKR 200,000 per month. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm PKT. As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate closely with Finance Managers to prioritize financial management and administrative tasks, ensuring that all reports and accounts are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant legislation and deadlines. Your efforts will focus on enhancing and automating financial reporting processes, supporting group-wide finance and compliance policies, and assisting with HMRC queries and reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packs and provide supporting financial analysis.
- Prepare detailed revenue, cost, overhead, and profitability analyses across various Group entities.
- Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required.
- Improve the quality, consistency, and presentation of financial reports throughout the Group.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of UK VAT, PAYE, and other tax regulations affecting the Group.
- Collect and organize documentation necessary for responding to HMRC inquiries.
- Ensure that all reporting and compliance documentation is complete, well-organized, and readily accessible for review.
- Maintain documentation outlining key finance and tax processes across the Group.
- Provide support to the Finance team on UK tax compliance matters, including VAT and PAYE.
- Prepare monthly governance and compliance packs for Finance Manager review.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in finance or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a finance environment, with a strong focus on financial accounting procedures and reconciliations.
- Proven ability to produce accounts from ledgers in accordance with financial accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Working knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE tax requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends or unusual movements.
