Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting FI clients (revenue/strategic) as a dedicated client account manager for all cash and trade-related transactions.
  • Identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship with key FI clients by cross-selling and up-selling cash/trade products.
  • Delivering “Client Service Excellence” effectively through active & regular engagement with the client and periodic account reviews.
  • Driving increased utilization for clients with existing setups through identified cross-sell.
  • Providing retention and growth of operating account liabilities and account transaction volumes for the FI portfolio.
  • Coordinating between the client and the bank’s internal departments for transactional documentation/agreements in order to streamline transaction flows, and improve client experience and TAT.
  • Identifying and introducing service improvements & streamline processes with product managers/internal stakeholders to improve the overall client experience, thereby strengthening relationships to retain/increase client revenue.
  • Building strong internal relationships with business segments FI RM, GTB FI Sales, and the wider GTB team to drive client agendas.
  • Maintaining a dashboard for payments volumes, CASA, and trade throughput for the FI portfolio.
  • Becoming a champion to protect the bank against various risks related to operations, fraud, and compliance in the ever-evolving regulatory market.
  • Supporting all the calling programs for awards, research, and other areas related to the branding of the bank.

Key Result Areas

  • Managing & protecting existing cash management and trade finance business from the top strategic clients.
  • Improving cash management and trade finance penetration by converting opportunities of cross-sell & upsell to key FI clients.
  • Supporting the bank's growth of interest and fee income through superior service support for all types of solutions for banks.
  • Increasing the number of products per client by working with the sales managers within FI Network.
  • Identifying leakages in the portfolio and proposing appropriate action to ensure attrition is minimized through constant monitoring and tracking of transactional activity of clients.
  • Working closely with the product/service team to ensure client needs are satisfied with the best in-line services.
  • Becoming an expert on clients’ internal processes to better understand needs and structure solutions to build a long-term cash and trade relationship.
  • Conducting quarterly client account reviews for top revenue clients

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Must have very strong trade and cash knowledge within the Financial Institutions segment.
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Very strong in MS Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • University degree with at least 5+ years in product/sales management or related area within cash management and banking.
  • Sales-oriented personality with a strong ability to understand client needs and to a position bank offering
  • Business and revenue-oriented skills
  • Team collaboration-building skills
