Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end export and import operations including documentation, shipping, customs clearance, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to international trade laws and regulations (EXIM policy, INCOTERMS, customs, DGFT, etc.).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Customs House Agents), shipping lines, and transporters.
Prepare and review documentation such as:
- Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin
- Letter of Credit (L/C), FIRC, Bill of Entry, and Shipping Bills
- Monitor and manage duties, taxes, and import-export licensing requirements.
- Handle customs queries and ensure timely clearance of goods.
- Liaise with sales, finance, warehousing, and production teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
