Firebase Specialist

In this hourly, remote contractor position, you will serve as a Firebase Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) responsible for creating realistic and challenging computer-based tasks using Firebase and related app development workflows. Your role involves designing practical Firebase tasks, clearly documenting them in SuperAnnotate, ensuring your technical setup supports each task, and recording yourself performing the tasks on your computer. These tasks will help train advanced AI models to better understand how real users complete backend-as-a-service and app infrastructure workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Create realistic Firebase tasks that reflect practical, challenging scenarios executable on a computer, then document these tasks clearly within SuperAnnotate.
- Prepare your work environment by ensuring you have the necessary Firebase access, test projects, sample data, local project files, permissions, and references ready before recording.
- Record yourself executing each Firebase task, following project instructions to ensure the workflow is clear, complete, realistic, and safe.
- Document the task context thoroughly, including steps, goals, project details, files, and notes, so reviewers can fully understand the task and its completion process.
- Demonstrate practical use of Firebase features such as Console navigation, Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Hosting, security rules, deployments, and troubleshooting when applicable.
- Maintain high submission quality by reviewing your recordings and documentation before submission to ensure completeness, clarity, realism, safety, and alignment with project guidelines.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Firebase, including app setup, authentication, databases, storage, hosting, security rules, deployment, and troubleshooting workflows.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher to comprehend project instructions, document tasks clearly, and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Comfortable working with computers, browser-based consoles, developer tools, terminals (when needed), project files, and recording software.
- Ability to design realistic and challenging Firebase tasks that reflect actual use cases in web, mobile, backend, admin, data, or app development environments.
- Strong understanding of Firebase fundamentals such as projects, apps, Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Hosting, security rules, SDK configuration, and deployment processes.
- Capability to ensure your setup supports the task, including having Firebase access, test projects, safe sample data, local files, and required tools prepared before recording.
- High attention to detail in task preparation, workflow execution, and quality checking to ensure recordings are complete, safe, and understandable.
- Reliable, self-directed work ethic with the ability to deliver consistent quality in an hourly, remote contractor role across different time zones.
