A well-established telecom company is currently seeking a dedicated Flash Fiber Officer (FFO) to join their team based in Sargodha. This full-time position involves managing and supporting fiber network deployments within a fast-paced and dynamic field operations setting. The role requires a tech-savvy and proactive individual who is comfortable working outdoors to ensure the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber networks. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining high-quality standards and smooth coordination among various stakeholders involved in the fiber deployment process.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber networks within the assigned geographic area. Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress and ensure all activities meet established quality and safety standards. Coordinate effectively with vendors, technicians, and internal teams to facilitate seamless operations and timely completion of tasks. Prepare and maintain detailed reports and documentation related to field activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Flash Fiber or Telecom is mandatory for this role. Candidates should have between six months to one year of relevant experience working as a Flash Fiber Officer or in a similar capacity. Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills are essential to effectively manage field operations and liaise with different teams. The candidate must own a bike and hold a valid driving license, as the role requires frequent travel and outdoor work. Additionally, an intermediate level of education is required to meet the basic eligibility criteria.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Possessing a diploma in Flash Fiber will be considered an advantage and may enhance the candidate’s suitability for the role. The company offers a competitive salary package ranging from PKR 50,000 to 60,000 per month, reflecting the responsibilities and skills required.
