Flutter Developer Intern – Frontend, Backend & AI Integration (Unpaid)

DartSyn LLC, a dynamic software development company specializing in mobile and web development, AI integration, GIS, IoT, and robotics, is offering an internship opportunity for four Flutter Developer Interns. This four-month, unpaid internship is based at Ascend Tower, NUST, Islamabad, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career developers who have hands-on experience building Flutter applications and are eager to deepen their skills in app development, backend connectivity, and AI-powered features. Candidates should have practical experience with Flutter and Dart, and be comfortable working on responsive interfaces and integrating backend services.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive Flutter interfaces based on UI/UX designs.
- Create reusable widgets and maintain clean, well-structured Dart code.
- Connect Flutter applications to REST APIs, databases, and authentication services.
- Assist in backend development using Firebase, Supabase, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Integrate AI APIs for features such as chatbots, content generation, recommendations, and document processing.
- Manage loading states, error handling, input validation, and overall application state.
- Debug and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with designers and developers using Git for version control.
- Document development work and communicate progress effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of Flutter and Dart programming.
- Understanding of layouts, navigation, forms, and responsive UI design.
- Experience with at least one state management solution like Provider, Riverpod, or BLoC.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of authentication methods, databases, and backend platforms or frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI APIs through academic, personal, or freelance projects.
- Awareness of secure API key handling via backend services.
- Basic proficiency with Git and GitHub.
- Strong willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Learning Opportunities
- Experience with Firebase or Supabase backend services.
- Backend development skills using Node.js, Express, Python, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with notifications, file uploads, or third-party service integrations.
- A GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing relevant projects is highly desirable.

Interns will gain practical experience in Flutter frontend development, backend connectivity, and AI integration. The internship offers exposure to collaborative development environments, debugging, code reviews, and opportunities to enhance problem-solving skills and build a strong portfolio.
