Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 to coordinate and execute food technology projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and improve food products using scientific methods and food processing techniques to enhance quality, safety, and consumer appeal.
  • Implement and monitor food safety management systems to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct analytical testing of food samples to assess quality, composition, and safety attributes using appropriate laboratory techniques.
  • Manage quality assurance processes, including inspection, documentation, and corrective actions to maintain high product standards.
  • Interpret regulatory compliance guidelines and ensure all products meet legal and safety standards throughout production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and research and development to optimize ingredient quality and processing methods.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations documenting testing results, project progress, and compliance status for stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on current food industry trends, safety regulations, and technological advancements to recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with project management to set timelines, allocate resources, and achieve milestones efficiently in product development.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in food processing, testing procedures, and safety compliance.
