Food Technologist

Salman Sweets & Bakers, located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is looking to hire a full-time Food Technologist to join their production team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the quality, safety, and consistency of bakery and confectionery products. This role involves supporting product development efforts and implementing process improvements to ensure that all product lines meet high standards. The Food Technologist will work closely with various departments to uphold food safety regulations and enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain food quality and safety standards throughout the entire production process.
- Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in developing and refining recipes and formulations for both new and existing products.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols, with a preference for candidates familiar with HACCP principles.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues or customer complaints concerning product consistency.
- Collaborate with the Research & Development team to innovate new recipes and improve existing ones, focusing on shelf-life, taste, and texture enhancements.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of quality control procedures and findings.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates with strong academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
- Solid knowledge of food safety standards and quality control techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in both Urdu and English; proficiency in Pushto is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety management systems is highly desirable.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000.
- This position requires on-site presence at the company’s facility in Peshawar.
