The role involves managing all trade finance transactions while strictly adhering to the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by the Bank, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and other regulatory authorities. The incumbent will maintain effective correspondence with SBP and customers, ensuring timely and efficient facilitation of foreign trade business. This position aims to support and grow the Bank’s Foreign Trade Business by providing excellent service and compliance in all trade-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle trade transactions and documentation in full compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and the Bank’s internal compliance framework.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing their trade and banking needs effectively and professionally.
- Ensure all foreign trade business is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of SBP and other regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate smooth communication and correspondence with SBP and customers to resolve queries and process transactions efficiently.
- Apply thorough understanding of UCP600 (Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits) and the Foreign Exchange (FE) Manual to manage trade finance operations accurately.
- Support the growth of the Bank’s foreign trade portfolio by timely processing and monitoring of trade finance transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working within a Foreign Trade Department or similar environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A Master’s degree is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working in multiple locations such as Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sialkot is beneficial.
