FullStack is an AI-native engineering partner dedicated to transforming AI capabilities into reliable, production-ready solutions. Unlike many companies that focus on demos, FullStack embeds AI into products from the ground up, leveraging elite talent and transparent execution to deliver measurable value. Serving over 600 customers across North America, FullStack is a trusted partner for AI engineering, helping clients move forward with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with enterprise teams by embedding within client environments to identify genuine AI opportunities, architect solutions, build systems, and ensure they perform reliably in real-world settings.
- Act as a consultant, operator, and engineer by engaging with stakeholders from COOs to VPs of Engineering, balancing technical problem-solving with business strategy.
- Lead discovery workshops to uncover true business needs, differentiate AI problems from workflow issues, and develop scoped, defensible solutions.
- Map and structure business and engineering processes into clear specifications that AI systems can execute against consistently.
- Design end-to-end agentic systems, including orchestration, context management, tool integration, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Build and ship working prototypes and production systems rapidly, focusing on practical value rather than theoretical demos.
- Own the delivery pipeline by managing continuous integration, testing, releases, and deployment environments.
- Present and defend architectural decisions to senior leadership, quantify impact in business terms, and support pre-sales activities when necessary.
- Shape solutions by reframing client requests, decomposing problems, selecting appropriate interventions, and documenting architectural trade-offs and success metrics.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with mainstream production stacks such as TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET, or Go.
- 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered and agentic AI systems beyond prototypes.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Experience with cutting-edge AI developer tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
- Proven ability to evaluate existing technical environments and define strategic roadmaps.
- Strong background in APIs, service design, event-driven and distributed systems, and data modeling.
- Expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Deep understanding of context and specification engineering to ensure reliable AI outputs.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, including APIs, webhooks, event streams, and iPaaS platforms such as n8n or MuleSoft.
- Demonstrated success leading client-facing discovery calls, focusing on uncovering root business problems.
- Ability to manage end-to-end delivery ownership and scope control without direct product management oversight.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to large, complex systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a positive mindset, and a strong sense of ownership aligned with client goals.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with production AI operations, including evaluation harnesses, observability, cost management, drift detection, and debugging non-deterministic systems.
- Knowledge of prompt- and evaluation-level regression testing integrated into CI pipelines.
- Background delivering solutions in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, insurance, or manufacturing.
- Involvement in pre-sales activities including discovery calls, statement of work (SOW) development, and technical proposal defense.
- Experience in process mining, operations analysis, or transformation consulting.
- Skills in client enablement and training to build client team capabilities beyond system delivery.
- Prior consulting or agency experience, comfortable managing ambiguity and multiple client accounts.
