The Freelance Editor position at ARX Productions is an on-site role based in Pakistan. The editor is responsible for reviewing and refining both written and visual content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with project objectives and brand standards. Daily tasks include revising drafts, correcting grammar and style issues, restructuring content to improve flow, and working closely with writers, producers, and other team members to meet deadlines. The editor also offers constructive feedback on story structure, tone, and messaging while maintaining accurate version control and project documentation. This role is project-based and offers flexibility, with responsibilities tailored to the scope and timeline of each assignment.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and edit written and visual content to enhance clarity, coherence, and style.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, project goals, and audience expectations.
- Correct grammar, punctuation, and language usage following en_US standards.
- Restructure and refine drafts to improve narrative flow and overall quality.
- Collaborate effectively with writers, producers, and other team members in an on-site setting.
- Provide feedback on story structure, tone, and messaging to strengthen content impact.
- Maintain version control and accurate documentation throughout the editing process.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and meet established deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- Strong editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in content review and quality assurance to ensure consistency and alignment with project objectives.
- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and language usage in American English (en_US).
- Ability to collaborate well within a team environment, particularly on-site.

- Familiarity with editorial workflows, version control systems, and basic content management or document sharing tools.
- Relevant academic background in English, Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
