Freelance Visual Designer — Remote Contract

Vision71 Technologies is seeking a freelance visual designer to transform provided content and business concepts into clear, professional, and distinctive visuals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design judgment through thoughtful concepts, confident typography, and balanced layouts that effectively communicate messages visually. Emphasis is placed on the quality and rationale behind your portfolio rather than your preferred design software.

Key Responsibilities
- Work remotely on a freelance contract basis, starting with a paid one-month trial. The trial will have clearly defined scope, deliverables, fees, deadlines, and revision terms agreed upon before commencement.
- Create approximately 2–3 social media posts per month based on content, objectives, and direction supplied by Vision71.
- Develop visual concepts and produce finished designs that align with business goals.
- Occasionally design additional materials such as brochures, carousels, presentation graphics, and perform short video editing tasks.
- Manage any additional deliverables or scope changes through separate quotations and approvals.
- Collaborate on potential contract continuation beyond the trial period, subject to mutual agreement.
- Deliver editable source files with an organized handover at project completion.
- Communicate clearly, meet deadlines reliably, and respond constructively to feedback.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to make complex business and technology content engaging and easy to understand through design.
- Original thinking with sound judgment in selecting effective visual approaches.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent professional workflows.
- Experience providing clear explanations of design decisions and refining work precisely based on feedback.
- Capability to supply editable source files and maintain an organized handover process.
- Occasional short video editing skills are desirable; candidates should provide relevant examples if available.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Use of AI tools is welcomed as part of the creative process; however, applicants must demonstrate their own creative input beyond AI-generated images or minimally modified templates.
- A portfolio that clearly illustrates your contribution to each project, including social media designs and multi-page pieces like brochures or carousels, is essential.
- Ability to translate written briefs into effective visual designs with a clear explanation of your role and any templates or AI tools used.
- Candidates should outline their preferred tools, availability, typical turnaround times, and indicative pricing for the initial trial period (2–3 posts).
- Transparency regarding what your proposed fee covers, including revisions and source files, is required.
- If applicable, include a short video editing sample.
- Only share work you have permission to disclose; redacted examples are acceptable.

This freelance engagement is focused exclusively on design. Social media account management, publishing, and copywriting are outside the initial scope of work.
