Freelance Writer

TBY is seeking freelance writers to contribute articles on a variety of topics including industry, energy, mining, finance, real estate, and construction across the Asia and Asia-Pacific regions. The ideal candidates will have strong English language skills and relevant experience in some or all of these subject areas. Writers should be comfortable producing short to medium-length articles on an ad hoc basis. All submissions must be fully sourced and original. This opportunity is to join a growing pool of freelance contributors, with the potential for ongoing assignments based on alignment with editorial needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Write articles of varying lengths tailored for both web and print platforms according to editorial requirements.
- Follow editorial direction and be open to revising content as needed.
- Ensure all claims and references are fully sourced to facilitate fact-checking.
- Pitch article ideas once a working relationship is established and trust is built.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent command of grammar and style.
- Experience in professional writing or a demonstrable ability to produce high-quality written content.
- Competency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software to deliver clean, well-formatted text.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Ability to meet deadlines, including occasional tight turnaround times.
