The Front Desk Officer at The ORBIT Institute will act as the primary point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and prospective applicants. This role demands excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a welcoming attitude. The officer will efficiently manage front-desk operations and various administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily functioning and a positive experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist students, parents, visitors, and guests in a professional manner.
- Respond to front-desk inquiries by providing accurate information about admissions, programs, schedules, fees, and institute policies.
- Manage incoming phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and general inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Guide prospective students through admission procedures and direct them to the appropriate department or admission counselor.
- Maintain visitor records, inquiry logs, and all front-desk documentation with accuracy.
- Receive, organize, and process documents, applications, letters, and official correspondence.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as needed.
- Keep the reception area organized and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with Admissions, Academics, Administration, and other departments to address student and visitor queries effectively.
- Follow up on admission inquiries when assigned to ensure timely responses.
- Assist with basic administrative and clerical duties, including printing, scanning, photocopying, filing, and record maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality of student, staff, and institutional information.
- Support institute events, orientations, seminars, and other activities as required.
- Perform additional front-office and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in front-desk, receptionist, customer service, admissions, or educational institute roles is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
Monthly salary ranges from Rs20,303.24 to Rs40,000.00
Work Arrangement
