Front-End Design Engineer

Python Technologies, based in DHA, Islamabad, specializes in developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions, complex data architectures, and reliable software systems. The engineering team focuses on high-impact products such as intelligent automation platforms and sophisticated data-driven applications, where precision, reliability, and exceptional user experience are paramount. We are currently looking for a Front-End Design Engineer who will bridge the gap between user experience design and production-grade engineering. This role involves full ownership of the front-end lifecycle—from discovery and wireframing to prototyping and delivering polished, scalable web interfaces. You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, software developers, and product leads to translate complex machine learning outputs and multi-step data workflows into clean, intuitive, and highly responsive web applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX/UI design and front-end development for both internal and client-facing web applications.
- Conduct user research through shadowing, requirement gathering, and collaborative design workshops to convert complex system needs into functional UI workflows.
- Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts prior to development.
- Build production-ready, reusable UI components using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with back-end and AI teams to integrate front-end architectures with Python-based APIs and backend services.
- Write and maintain automated UI test suites covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure high reliability.
- Document design decisions, system architectures, and testing strategies, while actively participating in code and documentation reviews.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of combined UI/UX design and front-end engineering experience, supported by a portfolio showcasing both design work and production code.
- Strong hands-on expertise with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven ability in user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, and working with design systems.
- Experience designing data-driven interfaces that clearly present complex data structures or multi-step workflows.
- Practical knowledge of automated UI testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Jest.
- Proficiency with Git, including branching strategies and modern source control workflows.
- Basic understanding of Python to facilitate collaboration with AI and backend engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to feedback and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Additional Information
- Monthly compensation: Rs150,000.00
- Work schedule: On-site, night shift (6 PM to 2 AM)
- Language requirement: Proficiency in English
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in front-end development
