Front End Developer (Intern)

TechCentera, an AI automation and custom software development company established in 2020, is seeking enthusiastic interns to join our frontend development team at our Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi office. This full-time internship offers a pathway to a permanent position. Interns will collaborate with senior developers to build real user interface features and gain hands-on experience with modern web development practices in a professional production environment. The role requires on-site work from Monday to Friday, between 6:00 PM and 3:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Convert UI/UX designs from Figma into clean, functional components.
- Assist in feature development using React.js under the guidance of senior developers.
- Identify and fix UI bugs, ensuring consistent layouts across various browsers and devices.
- Integrate frontend components with RESTful APIs.
- Actively participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and team discussions.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, including the use of AI tools for development, debugging, code generation, and productivity enhancement.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Basic knowledge of React.js or similar frontend frameworks, demonstrated through academic or personal projects.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Strong eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing sample projects.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
