DentistFind, a well-established Canadian marketing technology company with 14 years of experience supporting dental practices globally, is looking for a talented Front-End Developer with expertise in React.js. This fully remote role requires availability within the Eastern Time Zone and offers the chance to work on the innovative PracticeFuel platform. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design and backend teams to build responsive, high-quality user interfaces that drive patient acquisition and retention. With a minimum of three years’ experience in React.js, the developer will focus on performance optimization, accessibility, and maintaining high code standards, while actively sharing knowledge within a diverse international team.
Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance responsive front-end interfaces using React.js, ensuring seamless user experiences. Develop reusable component architectures to maintain design consistency across the platform. Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive user interfaces. Integrate front-end components with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic functionality. Optimize rendering performance, reduce bundle sizes, and improve load times for better user engagement. Collaborate closely with designers to refine UI specifications and improve usability. Implement accessibility improvements to ensure inclusivity. Develop automated tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress to maintain code reliability. Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and coding standards. Contribute to internal design systems and component libraries to streamline development. Work alongside backend developers to align API requirements and ensure smooth integration. Document front-end processes, best practices, and application standards to support team knowledge.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least three years of front-end development experience with strong proficiency in React.js. Skilled in React Hooks and component-driven architecture. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. Experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Comfortable using Git and collaborative development workflows. Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards. Ability to convert Figma and UX designs into production-ready user interfaces. Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack or Vite. Experience working within Agile or Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Certifications in front-end development or related technologies are a plus. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Jotai. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and basic server-side concepts. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and modern DevOps practices. Experience with testing frameworks including Jest, Cypress, and React Testing Library.
