GITLOGIX is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join their Islamabad office. The successful candidate will play a key role in building dynamic and responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks. This position requires close collaboration with product and design teams to develop new features while maintaining high code quality through best practices. The role also involves managing frontend deployments and requires hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and developing browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services effectively are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop new product features.
- Share technical expertise to help design scalable solutions and quickly identify performance bottlenecks.
- Take full ownership of code from ideation through to production, ensuring high automation and code coverage.
- Manage frontend deployments on AWS.
- Maintain code quality by following best practices and actively participating in code reviews.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a frontend developer.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Skilled in developing browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox.
- Familiarity with modern build tools such as Webpack or Gulp.
- Experience writing robust unit tests.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Islamabad before starting work.
