We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounting Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to our finance department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks related to financial recordkeeping and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable records to ensure accuracy and timely payment processing.
Data Entry and Bookkeeping: Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets accurately, including journal entries, expense reports, and general ledger transactions.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and other financial statements to ensure consistency and accuracy between accounts and records.
Expense Reporting: Support the preparation and processing of employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports, statements, and summaries as required, providing support for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and files, both electronically and physically, to facilitate efficient retrieval and reference during audits and reviews.
7.Assistance in Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits by retrieving requested documents, assisting with data analysis, and addressing audit inquiries under the guidance of senior accounting staff.
