FTTH Executive - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a motivated professional with 2-3 years of experience in FTTH quality, deployment, and field operations to join our team in Rawalpindi. The role involves managing and coordinating FTTH projects to ensure timely and quality deployment in line with company standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a strong ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and vendors to achieve project goals. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs80,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with various departments to propose optimal solutions for FTTH projects.
- Ensure deployment and rollouts comply with PTCL specifications and standard operating procedures, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Regularly update all project trackers to reflect current progress.
- Organize Post-Activation Tests (PATs) for completed FTTH projects in collaboration with vendors, QA, and operations teams.
- Provide support and guidance to teams and vendors during site surveys and the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for project sites.
- Plan and finalize project sites efficiently.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning activities to meet established timelines.
- Liaise with different agencies to resolve Right of Way (ROW) issues promptly.
- Ensure timely closure of projects within the designated deadlines.
- Prepare Project Implementation Plans (PIP) and progress reports for daily, weekly, and monthly updates.
- Arrange site surveys and ensure the timely submission of feasibility reports related to FTTH deployment.
- Manage vendor relationships to guarantee the timely completion of FTTH project deliverables, including deployments and PATs, facilitating smooth handover to Fiber Operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FTTH quality, deployment, and field operations.
- Proven ability to coordinate across departments and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Rawalpindi.
