Full Stack Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to take full ownership of our cloud infrastructure and core application stack. In this role, you will design, deploy, and scale reliable services on AWS, combining a secure Node.js/PostgreSQL backend with a modern Nuxt 3/Vue 3 frontend. You will also integrate advanced AI features to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy, configure, and manage production applications and supporting services using core AWS tools. This includes implementing secure S3 signed-URL workflows to ensure data protection and efficient file handling.

Backend Development: Develop modular Node.js and Express domain routers that incorporate JWT authentication, permission-scoped middleware, and robust PostgreSQL/Sequelize database management. You will work with complex database features such as JSONB, arrays, custom indexes, and raw migration patterns.

Frontend Engineering: Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Nuxt 3 (Vue 3), Pinia for state management, and TailwindCSS for styling. Your work will emphasize clean component architecture and include client-side spreadsheet integrations to improve user experience.

Quality Assurance: Maintain system integrity by developing and running extensive Jest testing suites, currently covering approximately 231 tests. You will also implement automated static route auditing to ensure application stability and security.

Required Qualifications

Cloud Expertise: Proven hands-on experience deploying and maintaining production environments on AWS, with a strong understanding of security best practices and infrastructure tooling.

Backend Mastery: Solid experience with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, including advanced database operations such as handling JSONB data types, arrays, custom indexing, and managing migrations.

Frontend Proficiency: Strong command of Nuxt 3, Vue 3, TailwindCSS, and modern state management techniques using Pinia.

Integration Experience: Demonstrated ability to work with third-party APIs such as Google Gemini, manage file uploads and storage using multer and S3, and handle time-sensitive data processing with libraries like dayjs, particularly accounting for timezone complexities such as Dubai time.

Engineering Standards: Familiarity with strict transpilation constraints using Babel, automated testing frameworks like Jest, and implementing role-based access control (RBAC) to enforce security policies.
