We are currently looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a backend focus and strong expertise in TypeScript and modern frameworks. The successful candidate will build scalable, high-performance web applications and work closely with the onshore R&D team from our Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad resource centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable applications using TypeScript with Node.js, NestJS, and Socket.io.
- Design event-driven systems leveraging RabbitMQ/AMQP for messaging.
- Create efficient database schemas and optimize queries in MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, including practical experience with EKS (Kubernetes) for container orchestration.
- Write comprehensive automated tests using Jest and Cypress to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust, scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in coding standards, architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Over 6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years focused extensively on TypeScript.
- Expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and real-time communication using Socket.io.
- Strong skills in MongoDB and PostgreSQL database design and query optimization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong focus on code quality, and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly EKS for cloud-based deployments.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes beyond EKS.
- Experience programming in Go is considered a plus.
