Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of full-stack product features, managing the entire lifecycle from initial discovery through to production deployment. Develop accessible and responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless user experience. Build backend APIs and services with an emphasis on correctness, maintainability, and clear interface contracts. Model complex business workflows and data structures in ways that are both understandable and auditable. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and make practical trade-offs. Enhance application performance, reliability, observability, and security. Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor engineering team members, and help establish scalable engineering practices to support team growth. Investigate production issues comprehensively and implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 6 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience, including extensive full-stack product development. Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development frameworks is essential. Experience in building backend APIs and services using Python or a similar programming language is required. A solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling principles is necessary. Proven ability to design reliable workflows for complex business rules or data-intensive applications is expected. Demonstrated success in taking features from ambiguous requirements through to production release is important. Candidates must have strong habits in testing, debugging, and conducting thorough code reviews. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across product and engineering teams are critical.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, PostgreSQL databases, and cloud-hosted application environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with data import processes, document workflows, background job management, and audit trail implementation is a plus. Knowledge of accessibility standards, application security best practices, and observability techniques will be advantageous.
