Full Stack Developer (Java)

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Java and its frameworks to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, working across both frontend and backend technologies. Emphasis will be placed on backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performance-optimized applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications utilizing Java-based technologies.
- Build robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a Full Stack or Backend-focused Java Developer.
- Strong expertise in Java (versions 8, 11, or 17) and object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Proven ability to build RESTful APIs and work within microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Git, version control workflows, and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of authentication protocols such as JWT and OAuth2.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
