Full Stack Engineer

Edream International (Pvt.) Ltd., a venture studio based in Islamabad, is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join their in-house technology team. This full-time, on-site role involves working Monday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining proprietary SaaS platforms and digital products, contributing across the entire software development lifecycle. This position offers a fixed monthly salary of PKR 100,000 and is ideal for developers who are adaptable, technically curious, and eager to take ownership of complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and SaaS products with a focus on scalability and usability.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces and robust backend systems.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs and third-party services.
- Manage and optimize both relational and non-relational databases.
- Work with existing codebases to understand architecture and implement new features.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best development practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams, management, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuously improve existing products through feature development, optimization, and maintenance.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools effectively as part of the company’s workflow, ensuring high-quality output.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack web application development with a strong portfolio demonstrating practical skills.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.js or Next.js.
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong understanding of REST API development, authentication, authorization, and application security principles.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub.
- Knowledge of debugging, testing, deployment processes, and cloud hosting environments.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, frameworks, and existing codebases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate problems and implement solutions.
- A practical mindset valuing demonstrated technical ability and portfolio over formal academic qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience working on live products with real users, maintaining and improving existing applications is highly advantageous.
- Candidates should be comfortable integrating AI-powered development tools into their workflow, using AI to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
- Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code, identifying technical flaws and architectural weaknesses, is essential.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, accountable, and capable of contributing meaningfully throughout the product development lifecycle rather than just executing instructions.
