Full Stack Engineer

Coreframe Labs is partnering with a UK-based AI startup to recruit a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer for a remote contract position. This role involves working closely with the client’s engineering team to develop and maintain products across the full technology stack. The contract is rolling, offering an opportunity to contribute immediately while collaborating with a UK-based team during their working hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and Next.js.
- Build and manage backend services and APIs using NestJS and Azure Functions.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries directly against PostgreSQL databases, beyond ORM usage.
- Implement and manage background job queues to support asynchronous processing.
- Collaborate effectively with the UK engineering team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high-quality software delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency with React and Next.js frameworks.
- Solid experience writing raw SQL queries for PostgreSQL databases.
- Proven ability to build APIs using NestJS and Azure Functions.
- Hands-on experience working with background job queues such as BullMQ or similar systems.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, with confidence in direct communication with UK-based colleagues.
- Familiarity with working remotely during UK business hours (13:00 to 21:00 PKT).

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Knex.js query builder is a plus.
- Exposure to Azure Cosmos DB or comparable document databases is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Redis for caching and queue management enhances candidate suitability.
- The role observes UK public holidays, aligning with the client’s calendar.
