Full-Stack Software Engineer (MERN)

Innoval Technologies is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently developing, maintaining, and deploying production-ready applications while ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of features and deliver solutions within agreed timelines, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend interfaces with React.js.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, manage, and optimize MongoDB databases, including schema design and query performance.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, data validation, and integrate third-party APIs.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following best software engineering practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across frontend, backend, database, and production environments.
- Enhance application security, optimize performance, and implement robust error handling and logging.
- Utilize Git and GitHub for version control, branching, pull requests, and collaborative development.
- Conduct testing, code reviews, bug fixes, and quality assurance before deployment.
- Manage application deployment, configuration, maintenance, and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into functional technical solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned features and deliver them on schedule.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development with proven production experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including asynchronous programming and modern programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Deep understanding of React.js, including Hooks, component architecture, state management, and API integration.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, backend services, and middleware using Node.js and Express.js.
- Solid knowledge of MongoDB, Mongoose, database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern frontend development techniques.
- Practical experience implementing JWT-based authentication, role-based access control, input validation, and secure API practices.
- Proficient with Git, GitHub, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
- Working knowledge of application deployment, environment configuration, Linux servers, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and troubleshooting production issues.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, debugging, performance optimization, and clean coding principles.
- Ability to independently manage development tasks and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, communication, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and server-side rendering (SSR).
