ICT Systems Pvt. Ltd., a well-established Dubai-based software house with over 14 years of experience in ERP software development, is looking for a talented Website Developer to join their Karachi team. The company’s flagship product, WebDesk ERP, caters to government bodies, multinational firms, and large organizations in Dubai and Pakistan. With offices in both countries, ICT Systems is dedicated to providing innovative ERP solutions alongside a range of digital services such as SEO, social media marketing, PPC, and graphic design. This full-time role requires working onsite at the ICT Building, Main Nursery, Shahra e Faisal, Karachi, during morning shifts from 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays off. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in a software house environment and be comfortable working towards sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop the website front-end to ensure visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Architect and manage the website’s back-end, including database and server integration. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to meet client requirements. Perform website performance testing and troubleshoot any content or technical issues that arise. Conduct WordPress training sessions for clients to facilitate smooth website management. Monitor live website performance continuously and implement necessary updates and security measures to maintain optimal functionality.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a WordPress and Shopify Developer is required. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as PHP, Shopify, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery is necessary. Familiarity with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN is expected. Experience using debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug is important. Candidates must have a strong understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and content management to deliver high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with PHP Laravel framework is considered an advantage. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs40,000, depending on expertise.
