Full Time Accountant - Remote

We are seeking a full-time remote Accountant to join our team, providing comprehensive accounting and reporting support for multiple clients within an ERP and accounting services business. This role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, and requires consistent online availability for 8 hours each day. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and be comfortable managing diverse accounting tasks in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 60,000 to 70,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Support the implementation and use of ERP systems for streamlined accounting processes.
- Monitor client accounts and transactions, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial data and provide timely reporting.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account analysis.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Provide general accounting support as needed, contributing to continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and relevant financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and accounting software for managing client accounts.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective communication and time management.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address financial discrepancies and reporting challenges.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
