Job Description 

  • As well as being able produce beautiful and outstanding visuals from large-scale master plan projects right through to the most abstract of concept studies.
  • You will have full knowledge of team structure, team management and project direction.
  • In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your artistic skills as well as form a team and direct them through projects.
  • A fully comprehensive knowledge of the arch viz process, associated software and data management is essential along with expert knowledge in rendering for both stills and animation.
  • Working knowledge of render farms is also essential.
  • With this role you will be expected to budget projects, work with external suppliers and integrate the process put in place by Galactic UK.

You’ll be:

  • A professional visualization artist – with at least 7 years’ experience in a creative agency or in-house role with an impressive portfolio.
  • Expert with a range of software, including the far reaches of Autodesk Revit,AutoCAD,3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop & After Effects,Corona Render.
  • Fanatically curious about the craft of telling stories through visualization.
  • Obsessive about hitting deadlines.
  • The ability to generate creative ideas from conception to delivery, including all disciplines where necessary
  • At your best managing a team – including collaborating directly with clients.
  • Expert in knowledge of the rendering process and render farms.
  • Epic Unreal Engine a benefit but not essential
  • Divinci Resolve a benefit but not essential.
  • Expectation to contribute to refining processes.

Your role will require you to:

  • Ability to understand and handle architectural drawings.
  • Capable of modeling projects from minimum sketches, supervision and coordinate independently with architects and third parties when required.
  • Provide efficient modeling and converting of datasets from CAD to other 3D modeling packages.
  • Work on architectural 3D modeling, unwrapping, texturing, lighting, camera animation, rendering on visuals and walk through projects.
  • Ability to create extremely photorealistic exterior, interior, landscape visuals and animation using corona render.
  • Undertake 2D image composition, finishing and retouching on 3D renders.
  • An expert knowledge and brilliant eye for detail in post-production to enhance visuals/animations using Photoshop, aftereffects and other plug in and special effects softwares.
  • To create cinematic architectural animations/films.
  • Tolead a well-trained & technically sound team.
  • Stay updated with the latest software used in the visualization field.
