Gardener / Horticulture Assistant

The role involves maintaining and enhancing the company’s landscaping, gardens, lawns, plants, and green spaces to ensure a clean, healthy, and well-kept environment throughout the premises. This position supports a professional and pleasant working atmosphere by caring for both indoor and outdoor greenery across office and factory locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and plants across the company premises.
- Perform regular watering, pruning, trimming, grass cutting, weeding, and soil preparation to promote healthy plant growth.
- Conduct plantation activities including planting seasonal flowers, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants.
- Apply fertilizers, compost, and approved pest-control treatments following recommended procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor plant health closely and report any diseases, pest infestations, damaged plants, or irrigation problems promptly.
- Keep landscaped areas, garden pathways, and surrounding green spaces clean and well-maintained.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools, equipment, and irrigation systems responsibly.
- Ensure proper storage and efficient use of gardening materials, water, fertilizers, and other supplies.
- Carry out seasonal landscaping and horticultural tasks in alignment with weather conditions and operational needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and landscaping standards across office and factory premises.
- Adhere to company policies, environmental guidelines, and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administration Department.

Required Qualifications

- Basic education is required; relevant training in horticulture or gardening is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticultural maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation, pruning, grass cutting, soil management, and fertilizer application.
- Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor duties and routine physical work.
