Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Gardener role based in Lahore. The Gardener will be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas, including lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees, to ensure they remain healthy, attractive, and safe. Daily tasks include planting, pruning, trimming, weeding, mulching, watering, and monitoring plant health for pests or diseases.
The role also involves operating and caring for gardening tools and equipment, implementing basic irrigation routines, and assisting with small landscaping or garden improvement projects as needed. The Gardener will work closely with supervisors or property managers to follow maintenance schedules and uphold cleanliness and safety standards across all green spaces.
Qualifications- Strong practical skills in Gardening and Landscape Maintenance, with experience caring for plants, lawns, and garden beds.
- Knowledge of Landscaping and Garden Design to support layout improvements, seasonal planting, and aesthetic enhancements.
- Understanding of Irrigation techniques, including proper watering schedules and basic maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Ability to safely use and maintain gardening tools and equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pruning tools).
- Basic understanding of plant care, including soil types, fertilizers, pest control, and seasonal requirements.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform outdoor work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance; vocational training or certification is an advantage.
