We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Gate Control Officer to maintain the safety and security of our company premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring entry and exit points, verifying the identities of visitors and personnel, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring strict adherence to company security protocols. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage access control while coordinating with relevant departments to address security concerns.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles to ensure authorized access only.
- Verify visitor identities and issue visitor passes following established company procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of visitor and vehicle movements.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials in compliance with company policies and gate pass procedures.
- Conduct routine security checks around the gate area and promptly report any suspicious activities.
- Coordinate with the Administration and Security departments to address any security-related issues.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, adhering to established security protocols.
- Ensure the gate area is kept clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and health and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum educational qualification of Matriculation or Intermediate.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Gate Control Officer or Security Officer.
- Basic understanding of security procedures and gate management operations.
- Strong observation skills with the ability to report incidents accurately.
- Competence in record-keeping and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Physically fit and capable of working in shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with gate pass procedures and material movement documentation enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems and visitor management software is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling emergencies.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000. This is an on-site role requiring the candidate’s physical presence at the workplace.
