Job Summary: Evercare Hospital Lahore, a project of Gate Healthcare 1 Pak (Private) Limited is an emerging 270 bedded multi-specialty facility located near Wapda Town, Lahore, Pakistan. The hospital will be commencing operations in Q3 2018, and is the part of an international healthcare group whose mission is to provide quality healthcare to the aspiring middle classes in Pakistan, through investment in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers.
We are seeking Law Officer who will be responsible for the legal affairs of the entire corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Will be responsible for legal matters and aspects of the hospital.
· Review, improve and develop hospital legal policies and processes.
· Provide legal services and support to all departments without burdening them with legal work.
· Manage and oversee all litigation cases including civil, service and criminal matters of the company.
· Render legal opinion to BOD, CEO and management staff on matters of multifarious nature to pertaining Tariff, Service, labor, civil, corporate, criminal, banking and energy sector including vetting and drafting of legal documents and agreements.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory code and keep current update on any legal change and regulations.
· Review legal documents of the company and ensure its legal protection like assets and maintenance, agreements and other court order compliance.
· Drafting and vetting of agreements, contract, tenders, MOU etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
· LLB / LLM Preferred.
· 03 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory and commercial affairs from large commercial / public organization of repute preferably in health sector.
· Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
· Integrity and confidentiality
